Jason Adkins is a painter embarking on an exploration of print media. In Summer 2008 he experience a one month residency at La Ceiba Grafica in Xalapa, Mexico where he worked in stone lithography. At the time of his PreNeo residency, Jason was a freeway flier, triangulating the Bay Area with a number of college level teaching positions in art studio foundations.

Jason, a native of California, grew up in the rural northstate town of Hayfork, where he once rode a horse to school. Jason has a BA in Spanish from Walla Walla College, a BFA in painting from CSU Chico, and a MFA in Pictorial Arts from San José State University.
