José Arenas
Plexiglass plate monoprints with lithography

"Solo"

"Disoriented"

José began this series by drawing directly onto pronto plates (a polyester lithographic plate) which carried the repeatable matrix for a series of monoprints. These images continue the themes of cultural iconography explored in his paintings.

José has an MFA from UC Davis. At the time of this residency he was art faculty at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California.
